Four commitments that decide how we work — and who we work with.
A firm's values show only under pressure — on the details, in the difficult conversations, and over years rather than engagements. These are the four we are willing to be judged by.
Precision
Outcomes turn on details. Every clause, figure, and deadline is treated as if the matter depended on it — because sooner or later, one of them does.
In practice — nothing of consequence leaves the firm without a second senior read.
Clarity
Complexity is our work, not yours. However intricate the matter, the advice arrives plain, decisive, and ready to act on.
In practice — if a paragraph needs a second reading, we rewrite it.
Discretion
Everything told to us stays with us. Discretion is not a policy here; it is the profession itself.
In practice — no client is named on this website, in a pitch, or at a dinner table. Your matters are discussed on a need-to-know basis, and nowhere else.
Partnership
We measure relationships in decades, not engagements — and we behave, from the first meeting, like a firm you will still be calling in twenty years.
In practice — we will tell you when you do not need us. That is why relationships last.
Promises you can hold us to.
Values are easy to print. These are the specific, personal ways ours reach you — and you are welcome to hold us to every one of them.
A quick question is not an invoice.
Clients call us the moment something feels off, precisely because a ten-minute call does not start a meter. If a question needs real work, we say so first — before it costs anything.
Bad news travels fastest.
If something goes wrong — a delay, a risk we spot, an error of our own — you hear it from us first, with the fix already proposed. You will never discover it on your own.
Deadlines are ours to carry.
From the day you engage us, the calendar is our burden — filings, renewals, notice periods. You will never be the one who has to remember.
We arrive prepared.
The first conversation begins with your documents already read and your situation already considered. Your time with us is spent deciding — not repeating yourself.
We tell you what we would tell ourselves.
Including when we are not the right firm for the matter in front of you. We say what we would actually advise — plainly, and early — and we would rather decline a mandate than hand you a comfortable answer that does not hold. In our experience, nothing builds trust faster.
The commitments beneath the values.
Confidentiality
Your affairs are protected by professional secrecy and shared, even inside the firm, only on a need-to-know basis. Discretion is not a courtesy here; it is an obligation we take seriously.
Independence
We run a conflict check before every engagement and observe the independence rules that keep our disciplines properly separate. Our advice answers to your interest, and nothing else.
Honesty about fit
We take on the matters we are the right firm for, and we say so plainly when we are not. A referral to someone better placed is worth more than a mandate we cannot serve well.
What we owe beyond our clients.
A firm takes more from its community than office space — it takes trust in the law itself. We repay that in three ways.
Counsel without a fee
Every year we act pro bono for people and causes that could not otherwise afford serious counsel — taken on the same terms, with the same care, as any paid mandate.
The next generation
We make time for the lawyers who come after us — mentoring students and young practitioners in Albania, reading their work, and answering honestly the questions no one answered for us.
Law in plain language
Everything we publish is free to read and written to be understood without a law degree — because trust in the rule of law grows when people can actually understand their rights.
Tell us where you're headed.
Share where you stand and where you want to go. We will tell you, candidly, how we can help — and whether we should.
