Terms of Use
1. Scope. These terms govern the use of the Tridens website (the "Website"), operated by Tridens, NUIS/NIPT M62031007D, with its seat in Tirana, Albania. They do not govern client engagements, which are subject to separate written engagement agreements. By using the Website you accept these terms.
2. No legal or tax advice. The content of this Website is general information prepared with care but without any guarantee of completeness, accuracy, or currency. It does not constitute legal or tax advice, is not a substitute for individual advice, and reading or relying on it does not create a client, advocate–client, or any other professional relationship. Do not act on any content without obtaining advice tailored to your specific situation.
3. Formation of an engagement. A professional relationship with Tridens arises only upon the conclusion of an express written engagement agreement and after completion of our conflict-of-interest check and any client due-diligence required under Law No. 9917/2008 "On the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism". Sending us a message, email, or document does not by itself create an engagement or oblige us to act, and information you send before an engagement is accepted may not be protected by professional secrecy.
4. Intellectual property. All content, design, text, graphics, logos, and marks on this Website are protected under Law No. 35/2016 "On Copyright and Other Rights Related to It" and applicable trademark law, and are the property of Tridens or its licensors. You may view and print content for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or public communication requires our prior written consent.
5. Acceptable use. You agree not to use the Website unlawfully, to interfere with its operation or security, to attempt unauthorized access, or to use automated means to extract content without our consent.
6. Third-party links. The Website may link to external sites for convenience. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, the content, availability, or privacy practices of those sites; access is at your own risk.
7. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tridens SHPK accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive, and including without limitation loss of profit, business, revenue, data, or goodwill — arising from or in connection with the access to, browsing of, use of, or inability to use this Website, or from any reliance placed on its content, regardless of the legal basis of the claim. This exclusion extends to Tridens SHPK, its partners, employees, and collaborators, and covers damage caused by errors, omissions, inaccuracies, interruptions, delays, malicious code, or any failure of performance, whether or not the possibility of such damage was known. Professional liability arising from client engagements is governed exclusively by the relevant engagement agreement.
8. Data protection. The processing of personal data in connection with the Website is described in our Privacy Policy, prepared in accordance with Law No. 124/2024 "On Personal Data Protection".
9. Changes. We may amend these terms at any time to reflect changes in our services or the law. The version published on this page at the time of your visit applies.
10. Severability. If any provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions is unaffected.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by the substantive law of the Republic of Albania. The competent Albanian courts, and where permissible the District Court of Tirana, have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or in connection with the Website, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights under Law No. 9902/2008.
