Buying property in Albania? A beautiful apartment is only part of the decision. Before you pay a deposit or sign a contract, check what you are buying, who owns it, and how the purchase will be completed.

Check the owner and the title

Start with the owner and the title. We check current property records, the ownership history, and any mortgages or other restrictions. We also check the seller's authority to sign and whether other consents are needed.

Check the property itself

The apartment you see should match the legal documents. Check the plans, registered area and the status of the building. For foreign buyers, ownership rules depend on the property and land category. A technical inspection may also be needed.

Review the contract and payments

Read the reservation and sale terms before committing. What is included in the price? When is payment due? When will you receive the keys? We review the contract, identify risks and explain what happens if the deal does not proceed.

Buying before construction is finished
