How much does it cost to start a company in Albania? The answer is more than a registration fee. Plan for getting established, and for the first year of running the business.

Registration and capital are different

For an ordinary Albanian limited liability company, the electronic registry filing charge is zero lek. Minimum share capital is one hundred lek. Capital belongs to the company. Neither figure is an all-in setup budget.

The work behind the registration

Your formation costs may include legal preparation, ownership filings, translations, and document certification. The work changes with your business and shareholders. A foreign corporate owner can require more documentation than an individual founder.

The costs that continue

Then budget for the registered address, banking, accounting and electronic invoicing. Ask whether annual accounts and year-end filings are included in the monthly fee. Taxes and local charges depend on your activity and circumstances.
