Starting a business in Albania
Starting a business in Albania? The first step is understanding what your business will do and how it will operate. Tridens helps you choose the legal structure, register the business and organise the steps that come next.
Choose the right legal structure
A limited liability company is a common choice, but it is not the only option. We look at your activity, owners, management and plans. If you have a business partner, agree how decisions, profits and exits will work before you start.
Prepare the company documents
Next, prepare the company documents. These set out the owners, shares, management and business details. Foreign documents may need translation and other formalities. We explain what is needed and whether an authorised representative can handle the filing.
Register the business
We prepare the registration filing with the National Business Centre and address beneficial-owner reporting where required. After registration, check that the details are correct and keep the records organised. Changes in ownership, management or address may need further filings.
Bank account, tax and invoicing
Registration is not the whole setup. You may need a business bank account, tax registrations, electronic invoicing, accounting and payroll arrangements. Banks carry out their own checks. We coordinate the legal and tax work so you understand your next obligations.
Licences, work and residence
Some activities need licences or other approvals before trading. Hiring staff brings employment obligations. If you are moving to Albania to run the business, residence and permission to work need a separate assessment. Company registration alone does not settle those questions.
