Court proceedings follow the Code of Civil Procedure before the competent first-instance and appeal courts; arbitration is available as an alternative, and mediation is provided for under Law No. 10385/2011 "On Mediation in the Resolution of Disputes". Foreign judgments and arbitral awards are recognized and enforced under the applicable procedural rules and international treaties, including the New York Convention for arbitral awards.
