Industrial property, including trademarks, is registered under Law No. 9947/2008 "On Industrial Property" with the General Directorate of Industrial Property, while copyright arises automatically and is protected under Law No. 35/2016. Personal data processing is governed by Law No. 124/2024 "On Personal Data Protection", which is fully aligned with the EU GDPR and enforced by the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data.
